Aneisha Hughes

Aneisha Hughes, BSLS Founder + CEO, who proudly and humbly wears many hats that continue to drive the growth and development of BSLS. She is a proud Rockets, Astros, Cowboys, and Texans fan from Houston, TX, although she resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Aneisha founded BSLS when she was a teenager and has been leading BSLS for 14 years and counting now. She also is an American actress, writer, and producer. She has worked across many industries that have been congruent in shaping her into the leader she is today alongside her mentors who have been a huge hand in her servant leadership and sharpening her craft.

Aneisha graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in Communications and Spanish then later returned to get her Project Management Certification. She is a proud member of the AFP Silicon Valley Chapter, Towne Street Theatre, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She amounts her undergrad success to her 3-year experience at the #1 HBCU in the Nation, FAMU (Florida A & M University).

In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, learning chess, dancing, singing, hiking, painting, gardening, reading, exploring new restaurants, traveling, writing, researching, watching stimulating moving pictures, and attending live events.

Aneisha’s favorite quote is "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others." - Mahatma Gandhi. Her resiliency and dedication coupled with her compassion contribute to leading BSLS in excellence while she also pursues creating quality content in front and behind the camera as she believes motion pictures bring awareness and provokes creative change.
